The theme for this week over at I Heart Faces is “hey girl!” Great reason for me to take my favorite girl out for a little shoot, mini style, and get some good practicing in . She isn’t so hip to me taking pictures of her anymore, but she loves I Heart Faces, so when she grimaced at my mention of using her once again as a model, I said, “But, hey! Its for I Heart Faces!” And then all was good with the world .

I love a canvas gallery wrap on the wall. I have been printing my own photos this way recently to display my favorite images of my kids . They come ready to hang and just simply look amazing.

Sometimes its hard to decide exactly what might look best, so I have come up with a few collections to help clients decide the best way they would like to display their favorite images. Weather in the midwest can be unpredictable. The past few months we have seen winter, summer, and spring-like weather all within weeks of each other ~ its been a temperature roller coaster! The day we had this shoot, it was supposed to be a little cool, but the wind made it extra unpleasant to be standing out in for an hour… and then just a few days later it was in the 80′s! So crazy… but these two withstood the freezing breeze and were troopers as I reminded them to try and relax their frozen stance before I captured their sweet smiles . I was so impressed with how well Tom and Nina got along ~ they are close in age and talked and laughed like they were best friends! Love it! I was asking them for hints in how to get my own kids to act like that, but it just comes naturally to these two .

So lovely to meet you both and your beautiful mom! I hope this move finds you staying in one place for quite awhile .
