This couple has a very touching story.  She is a cancer survivor.  He does great things in his community and with the Boy Scouts.  Together, I have no doubt they will do amazing things and share a love with those around them even bigger than the love they share on their own.

I loved all the yummy colors!  There was a citrus-y theme and it was so bright and cheery.

Melissa, you are simply gorgeous.  And it was obvious that your dad is bursting with pride for you…

One of my favorites from the day…

The ceremony and reception was held at the Historic Seven Sycamores Ranch near Visalia, CA.  I love this ranch — it is seriously breathtaking and SO relaxing… It is not only a perfect place for weddings, they also have a bed and breakfast that you must check out if you are in the area.

Yes, I think these girls know how to have some fun.

Hello, lovely sunlight…

Such a gorgeous evening.  Such an inspiring couple.  Congratulations, Melissa and Thomas!

Dana and Kim, pt. 2 {fresno clovis wedding portrait photographer}

He is a special education teacher and football coach.  She is a high school english teacher and knitting queen.  He thought she had a boyfriend.  But one Saturday night, they ran into each other on Facebook playing poker.  He realized Saturday night poker playing on the internet must mean no boyfriend after all… and so it began.  Then, true to their fun, spontaneous personalities, the two of them planned a surprise wedding — she showed up at her parents’ home full of family on Christmas Eve in a gorgeous wedding gown, ready for her brother to officially announce them as husband and wife!  Now he makes her laugh, and she makes him get that look in his eyes… Kim and Dana, even after 6 months of marriage, your newlywed glow is far from disappearing.

These two kept me laughing… even in the 106 degree heat…

Vavava-voom!

Kim, you are gorgeous.

Dana & Kim got engaged at Ficklin Vineyards, so they thought it would be perfect to do their shoot there.  And they were right.

Thank you, Kim & Dana — you two are the best!  I still smile every time I think of our afternoon together… it was so wonderful to meet you!!

This couple seriously was loads of fun.  Continuous laughter, a gorgeous vineyard, and the love these newlyweds had for each other was just shining out of them… and I don’t mean from the perspiration in the 110 degree heat… I have so much more to say, but here is just one for now… and it speaks volumes, does it not?

    Very cool and sweet. The light and the green background of vines contributed it’s perfection. The subjects emotions were perfectly shown. Totally awesome!

smiles…contagious {fresno clovis wedding photographer}

Seriously… when you look at a photo of someone smiling, don’t you find yourself smiling back?  I mean, of course I am not suggesting that the person in the photo can see you… that would just be crazy talk.  But I find smiles are so contagious!!  This is one of my all-time favorite photos… it is from my early years, so its not the best photo I’ve ever taken, but I just love the happiness that is oozing out of it!  This photo of this bride’s smile totally captures her personality… simply beautiful!
