Another gorgeous family… of whom I just happen to be related to 
. If you know my hubby, you can see that this guy looks almost identical to him!
The leaves were just perfect at our session — plenty on the trees for gorgeous backgrounds, plenty on the ground to sit in and throw around… love it! And love this family!

wshew!! the days have been flying by with all the hoopla and celebration (and still one more holiday to go!!) and i realized i have not blogged anyone recently… so i figured i had better get busy!! so, forget a bunch of writing business… i’m just gonna give ya the basics and post the goodness!
i grabbed up my sister’s family for a quick-session-in-between-sessions awhile back. so fun to be close to them again so we can do this! love you guys!

subways and fedoras downtown {chicago lifestyle photographer}

We have been wanting to go downtown as a family and just check it out as non-tourists. Because we live here now. But we still looked like tourists . I thought it would be fun to do some family photos in Union Station in the Great Hall, and after that we ventured around, did some very light shopping, and had some Chick-Fil-A. We didn’t really walk many places, but it didn’t matter — we saw so much great culture and so many interesting people, and it just reminded us that we need to do it again sometime soon.

What a sweet family this is. We had to reschedule our shoot because it rained all day, and we were a little worried we weren’t going to be able to sneak the session in before the big move to Chicago, but the next day was GORGEOUS and the skies were AMAZING! Yay for rainy-day makeup photo sessions!!
These boys CRACK ME UP. They are all so different. You can tell just by their poses and facial expressions.
And really, with 3 young boys in the house, you have to let some crazy go every once in awhile, no?
I love capturing moments that seem like the subjects didn’t even realize I was there. Like this one…
I believe this may be my favorite of the day…
Cooper Family, we miss you guys!! Keep that Cub Scout spirit fired up and never stop laughing.
