I have some crazy hair. Its thick and has some natural curl to it. What’s not to love about that you ask? Well, it is very temperamental, for one. Some days it may want to have a nice, even curl. That is very rare. Most days it has a frizzy, very uneven curl. So I usually straighten it. Or put it in a pony tail. And along with it having this uncooperative curl, it is dry and has a very coarse texture to it. So when I straighten it, it needs lots of product and heat to lie down and behave in a half way decent manner. My hair is a type of hair that usually looks better the day after I wash it ~ I can’t wash it every day or it becomes so dry it is impossible to deal with. That leads me to this really great stuff I found at Ulta one day. Its called DIRT! You add just a little to your hair on the days you wash it and it gives it that little something that helps it look like the day after you washed it! Genius, no?? I love it. It is a texturizing paste made by Jonathan, and just a little goes a long way, so my little 1.7 oz tub lasts me for months. It smooths and creates this lovely texture that I have never found in a product before. Magical for my hair.
Miss E had a gorgeous birthday party last weekend. Her mom made beautiful decorations and there were flowers, a fabulous cake and a traditional doljabi ceremony. Here is a little sneak peek of the fun… more to come later!
