may people’s choice {i heart faces}

May 30, 2011

This month I have had the joy of capturing some of what I think will be included in my all-time favorite images… making it a little difficult to pick just one for I Heart Faces this week ;-)!  I haven’t entered in awhile since it has been pretty much nuts around here getting ready for our big move to Downers Grove — a little suburb west of Chicago — in just a couple of weeks.  But when I saw the theme, I knew I had to enter one. This image stands out for many reasons… love her simple but elegant hair, her gorgeous face, her laughing eyes and smile… beautiful girl.  It just makes me warm and smiley.

Can’t wait to see all the other people’s choice entries!!  Go vote for your favorite!!

    Oldest son is living in Westmont- right next door to Downers Grove. Claredon Hills Christian Church is where her parents go. We visited a few times.

Remember trying to pin his corsage on?  And dying your shoes to match your dress?  And wishing the night would never end?  Maybe I’ve sugar coated my memories of prom a little bit… but they are good memories ;-).  Having a shoot with two gorgeous people all dressed up and willing to do all kinds of crazy poses… almost as much fun as I had myself at prom!!  Truly.

OH my.  This was just one of those shoots you can call just about perfect.  Gorgeous sunlight, gorgeous girls, gorgeous personalities… these sisters acted like they did this everyday!  And I don’t need to say another word, because you can see just how lovely they are for yourself…

I think this is my favorite… if I had to pick just one… 😉

Ummm… or maybe this one…

I LOVE how their arms are inter-twined… sister love…

springtime… {fresno clovis portrait photographer}

We are well into springtime.  There are only 4 weeks left of school… not that I’m counting… 😉  But when school gets out, that means we will be on our way to Chicago… which is sad in some ways, but oh so happy in others, including the fact that we will finally be reunited with Dad/Hubbyman!!  We are so beyond excited to be together as a family, doing life together… It has been a very long time… too long!!

Just thought I’d share a few shots from spring around our house…
