Our 2nd born had his 9th birthday yesterday.  I was just commenting on how he and his sister look even older all of a sudden.  Like starting their new grades at school immediately aged them.  Not fair.  We just had a little family celebration… I told him when he turns the big 1-0, we will have a big ol’ bash.

This image on the right is the beginnings of making his school birthday treats.  I couldn’t bear to post the final outcome.  If you know Bakerella, I apologize for even showing you this one.  I learned at least 5 things I did wrong… as the “cupcakes” were falling off of their sticks.  Maybe if I ever try cake pops again, I will have learned from my mistakes… but they still tasted pretty good .
